“Absolutely fabulous tour. This was my 7th Grasshopper tour (2nd in Japan) and I loved every minute of it! Fantastic route, perfectly paced, great accommodation - especially the onsens, food was sensational and our guide (Toto) and driver (Kazu) were sensational. Ebikes were excellent”

“This is an absolutely beautiful bike tour. I was stunned by the beauty of the Japanese countryside. The accommodations were great and so was the food. Soaking in the onsens every day was a treat. And the staff were amazing. Super helpful, funny and kind. I've been a a few bike tours and this was easily the best. If you want to really see Japan hp on a bike with Grasshopper and enjoy the view!”

“Great trip travelling through some truly beautiful places and across engineering marvels (the bridges). At times remote; at times steep but never impossible. Places it would otherwise be hard to get to. Hotels were very good; food was superb and our group leader and mechanic / bus driver were great. Only comment: dont be the only person not on an ebike - a bit lonely (though the staff were superb)”

“This was an amazing tour - The routes were incredible, food was scrumptious, and lodgings were top-class! The most important reasons it was an unforgettable experience were the tour guides Norman and Reiko - they were fun, kind, prepared, and amazing!”

“What an amazing tour a perfect ride for an ebike some long hills but the scenery and views are worth it. Loved riding through the bamboo forest and good trails everywhere. The food was fabulous and plentiful it was like doing a food tour as well as a bike tour. The accommodation was really good and my favorite was Kure Bay where we had amazing views overlooking the sea. Our hosts Norman and Reiko were genuine lovely people and we felt like a family. They gave us the best experience of Japanese culture and traditions.”
