“This belt caught my attention because of its unique, simplistic appearance. Conceptually, the design is very innovative, but in reality, it has quirks. After wearing it, the nylon strap is permanently "kinked" where it grips the buckle. This is unsightly and makes the strap more difficult to release when removing the belt. Also, the whole rig feels a little cheap, despite a fair amount of thought apparently went into the design. All in all I'm not sure if this is a piece of gear that's going to be integrated into my everyday life. I'll keep wearing it though, to give it a fair review in a year or so.”

Hey Robert! Thank you for the feedback! It looks like you have our black strap, which is our stiffest. Since it is the stiffest, it tends to hold memory a little more than the other colors. Have you tried massaging it out after wearing it? If not, try that! I would also be happy to send you a different color strap. The belt never shifts or loosens on its own, but holds steadfast and secure, yet can be quickly removed with a simple tilt and pull. I highly recommend this item.
