I bought a nylon belt that went through the buckle and then pulled back and was held in place with velcro and I liked it, it worked for me. I've had it for a few years now but I saw an ad for Grip6 went to the site and watched the video and decided to buy one and try it out. I can only say one thing I LOVE this belt and will not wear anything else. I even bought another belt but two inches longer for a different application. THANKS GRIP6!!

The buckle is simple elegance. The strap is utilitarian, but not unattractive. The tightening/loosening sequence is simple and becomes automatic after a few days. The buckle has a low profile, which I like. The best option I have found so far for nickel-free belts.

My husband loves his belt and uses it every day. I’m interested to see how his belt performs as he put his other belt (not a GRIP6) through its paces in less than a year.

It’s not that easy to adjust or open since you have twist the buckle to be almost perpendicular to the belt in order to slide it across the belt. That said the quality of the materials used is very good but the price is a bit much for what it truly is. Marketing seems to be this company’s strength imho. I’ve owned better cheaper belts.

Recently, I purchased a belt and buckle, as well as, a replacement belt from Grip 6. I’m sure you’ve read some, if not all, the reviews and I will tell you..they aren’t hype. These are quality made products. The buckle is brushed aluminum (mine is black) that is smooth, with no sharp edges. The belts are strong, woven nylon which allows for flexibility while providing a sturdy hold. But I’m sure you’ve read all the descriptions already. What you probably want to know, more than anything is this: I love these belts! The fit is perfect – sized to allow for “growth”. And it doesn’t matter if there’s extra because since it gets tucked in behind, you really can’t see it. It is very comfortable to wear all day and can easily be adjusted on the fly to accommodate your changing needs as the day drags on. They are stylish – even in basic form (like mine) – and can easily take from work to play. I will be honest, that when first putting on the belt, it does take some getting used to as to how to properly adjust it, but once in place, it stays put. As for price – come on, let’s be honest, you’ve probably spent the same amount for clothing items that you have had to replace, or will be replacing shortly. Considering how well made these belts and buckles are – not to mention the materials used – you’ll probably never need to buy another belt again. Let that sink in for a moment. You spend $35 to get a belt and buckle that will most likely be with you for the rest of your life! How many things can you say that about these days. Being retired military, form, function and cost are relevant factors when it comes to me buying something. These belts and buckles meet that criteria – hands down. They fit very well; they can easily operate in the workplace (whether it be an office or a construction site) and can just as easily take you from a formal evening event to an out back barbeque with the friends and family; and they don’t really cost any more than a belt that isn’t going to last the rest of your life. Go ahead and buy one. Try it out – you won’t regret it! And, I’ll bet you’ll go back for at least one more. Thanks for reading, Mark H. Apache Junction, AZ
