“As a concealed carry person, I needed to find a new belt after wearing military web belts all my life (both open and closed buckles). They would slip and not hold when I would bend over to get something off the ground or to get in the car. I was constantly having to re-adjust them. I searched for alternative adjustable web belts with a friction or ratchet hold since I don't use buckle/hole belts. Ordered four different styles including Grip6. After trying all, I discovered the buckles for the ratchet style belts were too thick and dug into my stomach when sitting. Although I was dubious about the Grip6 not slipping, I've worn it for several weeks now and have not had the problem I had with the other belts. It holds firmly and is very low profile with no mechanisms presenting a minimal appearance. Once you're used to it, fastening and unfastening the belt is simple and fast. I have since ordered another and this will be my new belt style from here out. Was the most expensive of the four I ordered, but the web belt and face are definitely quality materials.”
