“Paying 40$ CAD for a strap and piece of metal is 3 times overpriced. 20$ CAD would be much more respectable I would send all men your way and even women my step mom wants one! When your production ramps up and your selling by volume, price could go to 15$ CAD with competion BUT your markup will remain much higher than leather belts and others more complicated. I think the design can also be revised to make it slimmer at the end of strap where melted plastic sits behind buckle”
