“I thought long and hard whether to get the narrow or regular version. I am a dude with a gut and I work an office job, after 2 months of wearing the narrow version I can say it was the correct choice. The buckle plates are about as tall as my smallest dress belt buckle and lays about as flat. It is quite a bit more comfortable due to how the plate rests on top of the strap and the strap is not wrapped around a bar of a frame. I had zero safety issues so far, there was never a time where I felt like the belt was coming loose, or needed to be retightened even during physical activity. Some earlier comments complained that the narrow straps didn’t have a plastic tab at the end compared to the regular straps – I can report that narrow straps now also come with a plastic tab at the end, which is a plus. The only downside of this belt is that it uncomfortable to fasten, to get it really tight you need to suck your stomach in and pull the strap in towards you, as opposed to other types of friction buckles like autogrip/flip/D-ring/slider where you just yank the strap away from you as hard as you can. Overall, a Grip6 belt provides exactly what is advertised – it is minimalistic, it doesn’t bulge, it doesn’t torment the underside of your belly when you sit, it is super customizable (if you get the 3-pack), and it is priced as any good quality belt. Are they life changing? Not really, but they are at least as good or better than any friction belt that I’ve ever used, and they are as compact and stealthy as my favourite dress belts. That is enough for me. I guess these are my go-to everyday belts now.”

“I love them. I shared them with my mom and you sent me a video on how to make hers a bit smaller. She has arthritis and I’ve been looking for a belt she could manage. They are great!!”
