“I'll admit, I bought these as a bemused "Sure, why not?" as checkout. Best impulse decision I've made. The socks are comfy, warm but not cloying, and best of all: well seamed. Having worn several sock where the seam rubs in exactly the wrong spot, it's been like having a splinter pulled wearing these. A note to prospective buyers: take the sizing guide seriously. I have rather large feet and was just on the cusp between Large and X-Large. My recommendation is to go for the larger size if you find yourself in similar circumstance; I've found that wool isn't quite as stretchy as cotton socks. Not a bad thing, as it means these are less likely to "release" and sag over time, just something to be aware of if you're making the same switch.”

“XL is to small for a size 13 foot. Fit my wife's 9.5 perfectly and she loves them. I am jealous because they are well made.”

“apply easily over my compression stockings, shrunk after laundering,stay up around ankle well , are comfortable, need to be offered in xxl”
