“Mind you, I gave the shorter socks 4 stars so they're not bad socks at all. At work I wear Belleville hot weather boot and for hunting I wear a 200gram thinsulate boot. This sock is good for both, though the former boot isn't ideal when it turns very cold. Go figure, it's a desert boot. Anyway, these socks are on point for the sizes, good heel/ball padding plus a bit on the top of the foot for where the toe of the boot folds in. This is just a really good sock. Doesn't comply ar DA PAM 670-1 because of its colors but if you can see my socks I'm doing it wrong anyway. Great sock.”
