This wider belt that I purchased for workwear, is more difficult to put on snuggly and comes loose within minutes. The narrower belt is better in these regards. I'm hoping that as the belt breaks in, it will stay tight-fitting and not loosen.

Nice belt for outdoors. Buckle is sleek. Locking mechanism is new to me, and leaves a bit of bulky feel once locked in.

The quality of the buckle and belt are very good. The theory on how is should worn with tightening/loosening appears to me straightforward, however, practically I find it impossible to get the tightest and loosening I desire. It could be the newest of the belt that prevents this happening in that the flexibility of the material takes a while to come good. I will persist for a while longer to see if the Workbelt is really worth the money.

I purchased my first leather work belt from a certain superstore about five years ago. Worn full-time, it became stretched had started to look unsightly. Although it held up remarkably well, it was time for a replacement. I began looking for a high-end leather work belt. Based on reviews, leather belts all end up the same - some just look better while doing so. I was given a regular GRIP6 belt as a gift and really liked it. I decided that it might be a good candidate for work. I've been wearing the workbelt to my full-time job now for a month and I haven't found any cons so far. It looks professional in an industrial/commercial setting and is comfortable due to the vast adjustment of the belt. I like the idea of just replacing the strap if somehow it becomes damaged. There's been a few times where I'm lying on concrete or shimmying against a concrete wall. I was concerned that the belt would start to fray, but so far I haven't seen any damage from it. Bonus points for being able to let it out a smidge after a good chow session.

The friction holding mechanism is novel for me, having used normal belts all of my life, and took some getting used to. That said, this belt is exactly as described on the tin: continuously adjustable. So far as comfort goes, that cannot be beat. The buckle's face is also a keen design; anyone whose caught sight of it has commented or asked about it. Feels good man. My only, minor, issue is the material of the belt itself. The nylon material is superb, don't get me wrong, not a single flaw in it; stuff feels like it could suspend a fully-loaded duffel no problem. I'd have liked a leather option is all. I work in an industry where a belt can also be used as a handy tool for opening recalcitrant screw-top containers and nylon just doesn't have the same grip in that application. Add in that certain solvents don't play so nicely with nylon and I've been reticent to use my belt for such recently. If GRIP6 develops a leather belt for this buckle, I'll be the first to put in an order.

Excellent belt buckle and belt. The buckle adjusts quickly and does not slip even when wet. Extra width helps keep pants up even loaded with multi tools, screw drivers, etc.
