“I like the way these shoes look, and they are well made and stylish. However they don’t feel like barefoot shoes. The sole is not very flexible and the toe box is not wide enough for my feet and they feel constricted. They are zero drop and there is very little cushion, but those are not the more important barefoot features to me. I have an older pair of groundies I got a year ago and am so happy with those. It seems though that with the extra style you get with these shoes with the squared edges you lose the flexibility of the true barefoot sole. I’m going to keep them and see if as I wear them in they become more comfortable, but I’m wishing I had gotten a pair with a more flexible sole.”
