“These are the first Groundies I bought, and the first barefoot shoes that actually worked for me (Vivobarefoot = too expensive and not as nice). I was slightly nervous about shipping all the way to Australia but I thought I'd try it given the free shipping. I have now bought so many Groundies since then, they are my new favourite brand! The customer service is amazing. These boots are a good replacement for my Timberlands which always gave me foot pain. These are so light and comfortable and are perfect for walking through the bush/forest/sandy soil thanks to the flexible sole. The size 40 (my usual boot size) was perfect, although I either have to wear thick socks or use an innersole due to skinny feet/ankles. I think the colour is slightly darker than the photo too. My only complaint is that the brown bit around the ankle is not genuine leather. Other than that I'm so happy I took a chance on these, thanks for making barefoot boots that actually look cool at such a reasonable price! It didn't take me too long at all to get used to wearing barefoot shoes, now I can't stand the thought of wearing anything else.”
