“This is my first pair of Groundies shoes.
Sizing: I typically wear Vivobarefoot or Bohempia shoes. Size 8/41 is my normal size according to their size charts. From Groundies, I ordered size 8/41. These fit slightly narrower, by maybe 1 cm. This is still comfortable for me, but in the future, I will order 9/42 from Groundies.
Sole: Nice balance of firm/flexible. Not too floppy or stiff. The traction design performs really well, especially compared to some other lifestyle barefoot shoes. I do not trust Bohempia soles on smooth or wet surfaces.
Style: This shoe looks more like Rick Owens Ramones than Converse All Stars. Or maybe a cross between them. Styling this shoe is easy, but they're not as sleek looking. I would prefer black stitching and eyelets, rather than contrast.
Overall, it's a stylish and comfortable shoe for lifestyle and general purpose. P.S. My dad loves his pair of Groundies shoes for dancing.”
