Cheryl did a fantastic job looking after both dogs, particularly our little Zelda who has many health issues and requires a very complicated meal and medication management plan. Zelda is very high maintenance, but Cheryl took it all in her stride and didn’t let it faze her – which allowed us to have our first, real holiday for many years. “Stuart was an excellent house and petsitter. He looked after our large rural property and 3 dogs for almost 4 weeks. Stuart kept us informed with pics of the dogs at regular intervals. We came home to 3 relaxed dogs and a clean house. We were delighted to find that Stuart had also done a large amount of mowing and had picked up tree branches and sticks and made several bonfire piles. We were very appreciative of his help with this endless and time consuming task. We have no hesitation in recommending Stuart to anyone needing a reliable house and petsitter.”
“Kathryn Rose Holland looked after our house and cat for 8 nights in November 2023 in Millicent, South Australia. She had just sold her three child care businesses in Bridgetown, Western Australia and was starting her retirement by visiting friends and family then undertaking our house/pet sit.
We spent the initial night together before our departure and were able to see first hand what a warm and caring person Kathryn is. Conversation was easy going and enjoyable over dinner.
Right up until her arrival, Kathryn kept in contact and asked pertinent questions about our expectations. This was very comforting.
Kathryn is a friendly, relaxed but diligent person who took excellent care of our property and pet. As Kitty is a rescue cat, Kathryn went above and beyond to make sure he had heaps of cuddles. Frequent photos of him relaxing were most thoughtful.
On our return, the house and yard were in an immaculate condition. Kathryn also had a lovely dinner organised for our arrival. She had also placed fresh flowers from our garden in our dining room and bathroom. A lovely touch. We were surprised how green our lawn was on our one acre property but Kathryn had been moving the sprinklers around knowing we had bore water.
As Kathryn is an organised person with previous house sits among family and friends, we knew our house was in good hands should a problem arise. Kathryn stayed in our house for the duration.
We highly recommend Kathryn as a future caretaker of your property and animals. Next time Kathryn will be travelling in her new van and so will be able to provide the option for you of either living inside your house, as we prefer, or in her own self contained van.”
