“HOUSE SITTING REVIEW: Scott Baker
Scott was our House Sitter for six weeks in July/August 2023 while we were on holidays in Queensland. We live in a home with a garden and swimming pool, as well as our treasured 14-year-old dog Abbie, so the job was far from simple and straightforward. We supplied Scott with detailed written instructions on how to manage the house, which we have also done for all our previous house sitters. Our communications with Scott, both before we departed and while we were away, were all answered promptly and thoroughly. In addition, he sent us photos of Abbie which we were delighted to receive. Also, he needed to take Abbie to our Vet. for one of her regular injections and this was done satisfactorily.
There are numerous deciduous trees in our garden, and we returned home to find all of the fallen leaves raked up and disposed of. The swimming pool had also been vacuumed.
When we returned home, we found the house clean and tidy, our dog smelling sweet after a recent bath, and an evening meal prepared for us.
We are happy to recommend Scott as a house sitter and to answer any questions regarding his suitability. We just hope he is available to us for our house sitting tasks in the future.”
