“Arrived home to find that they had allowed a stranger to sleep in our home without permission. Now we feel the need to change our locks. Our home was not found as we had left it. In fact the outside entertaining area had never been cleaned. I had to wash the kitchen cupboards as they had black grease over them. They were told to not put my scanpan saucepans & lock & lock containers in the dishwasher but this was ignored. I also told them to close curtains & blinds so that sun does not shine on our furniture but they were all wide open. They were only asked to water the garden & mow the lawn. Luckily it rained so the garden was ok but the lawn was only mowed once in 4 weeks. Cannot recommend them as house sitters. They had far too much "stuff", and required 3 rooms in our house to put this in. All round total disappointment.”
“Isabelle and Dalton were absolutely amazing. Our dogs are not easy as they are big, very energetic and a bit mischievous. They left the house very clean and our dogs were super happy. We would definitely recommend Isabelle and Dalton and would use them again in a heart beat!”
“Allison and Shan were beyond wonderful. They keep me updated on things at home and the house was left clean and tidy on my return. Neptune absolutely adored them which was evident with how relaxed he was. Highly recommend and would have them back anytime.”
“Jacqui and Brad recently house sat for us and looked after our Bengal cat, Prince whilst we went on a family holiday.
We are new to this and must admit we were a little nervous about trying this out with strangers initially!
But during conversations prior to our trip, they were both so lovely and genuine, which reassured us that our home and our boy would be well looked after while we were away.
Both Jacqui & Brad stayed in touch throughout our holiday, sending us regular photos of Prince getting lots of pats and looking relaxed and content.
When we arrived home, it was amazing to walk into a spotless house and very happy cat! Brad had even re-stocked our kindling and firewood supplies and Jacqui left us a beautiful bouquet of locally foraged flowers.
We cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone else looking to give house sitting a go!”
“We used Wendy Phillis as our house sitter April/May 2023. She left our home in immaculate condition. There were a couple of personal issues that arose while we were away that we needed to contact her about ( so that she could try and address on our behalf,) and she managed these situations really well
(especially considering we were in Europe at the time). Communication was brilliant. I can't recommend Wendy highly enough and would not hesitate to use her again. She met a couple of our neighbours, and was apparently quiet and respectful while we were away.
I would not hesitate to use Wendy again as a house sitter, and neither would my neighbours.”
