“It is always difficult to leave your fur baby when you need to travel and choosing someone to care for them and your home can seem like a lot, especially when you have a very human-friendly, affectionate, Devon Rex named Frank, so we defiantly take time when considering someone to become his person while we are away.
I was recommended the ‘Happy House Sitting’ service by a friend and, after posting our ad, Tony and Sue responded with a very delightful message. Instantly, I was attracted and invited them over for a ‘meet and greet’.
As soon as Tony and Sue arrived I knew they were the ones. So, so friendly and already patient with Frank, who I told them soon would become their best friend soon enough.
Before we left, for a month away, Tony and Sue came over again to re-introduce themselves to Frank and understand ‘the lay of the land’. They were so accommodating to our schedule, making time even though they were busy.
While we were away, we received regular, very humorous messages and photos from Tony. Honestly, it was always a delight to know Frank was so happy and Tony and Sue were enjoying him and our home.
But almost the best bit; when we arrived home at 2 am with 2 babies after a 25-hour flight, the house was just as we left it. Not only did they clean our home, but they also washed towels and had fresh sheets on the bed. Such a delight after a long hall flight.
I could not recommend Tony and Sue enough. I only hope that the next time we travel they are free to come to stay with us again.
