“This is the first time we have ever considered using a house sitting agency for a long term holiday. We have 2 scaredy cats and one very active border collie, and a mid-sized yard with lots of pots and gardens, so we were cynical to find a company with sitters that would agree to free-rent-for-service for 2 months. We had no reason to be. The process to post our ad was as easy as typing our house description, our needs with start and finish dates, and downloading a few photos. We did this at 9pm. By 11pm that same night, we had 3 interested parties. We were somewhat shocked! The following days there were more coming through. We followed the processes outlined on the very thorough Web site and before we knew it, we had our house sitter finalised for our 2 month absence. During this process we contacted Happy House Sitters several times to clarify certain questions and they always returned our calls promptly. They kept actively in touch right up to the day we left the country, and reconnected on the day we returned, to rate our sitter, Kate #81600. This is a fantastic company supplying a fantastic service, and we will, and have, recommended them to friends and family. As we enjoy travelling, we will be using Happy House Sitters again for both short and long term holidays.

“Nicola was a fantastic house sitter, looking after my dog Buffy and cat Willow, while I was away for a few weeks. I was very anxious about leaving my fur-kids for so long, but Nicola was happy to keep in touch, send me photos and assured me that she would be home with them most of the time. I felt very comfortable leaving Buffy and Willow in Nicola's care. My house was also well taken care of, and clean and tidy when I arrived home after a long journey, which was much appreciated.”
“Felicity was great. She communicated clearly before the sit, arrived as planned, did a nice intro and hand over, plus communicated as requested while away and provided some updates and photos after a few days to re-assure me all ok.
The dogs were well cared for, and on exit Felicity cleaned up and left the place in great condition.

“Michael Upton was our House Sitter for 14 weeks and looked after our house and our dog Harry.
While we were away Michael gave our house the very best care and kept our house in the best order.
Michael also looked after our dog Harry who obviously had a great time as he was looked after with the very best of care. After Michael left Harry was a bit lost as they had become the best of friends.
We would recommend Michael to any future clients and we look forward to having Michael look after Harry and our house when we next venture away”
