“We didn’t have much experience with a house/cat sitter, other than having had friends looking after our Siamese cat once over Christmas. This time we were going away for a bit over 4 weeks and a complete stranger would look after our apartment and, more importantly, after our cat (and fish).
After a lot of searching on different sites we found Alicia and met with her a few months before leaving. She arrived ‘on the dot’ on our day of departure, which was a huge relief. Alicia kept us informed via Whatsapp on the trials and tribulations with a rather wilful 1 year old Siamese. All went well and on our return we found our cat happy and healthy, all the fish still alive and the apartment in very good order.
Conclusion: hopefully Alicia will be available again for one of our future holidays!”

The guys managed to win her over rather quickly and she relaxed with them, as did the other animals. This meant I was able to enjoy a worry-free holiday.
