“I LOVE the flip n sip lids. They make using the steins much more convenient for me. I'm constantly on the go, and the original stein lid forces me to stop whatever I'm doing to twist open because I need two hands. It's not a really a big deal except when I'm driving or in a meeting at work.
Now with the flip n sip stein lids I can single handily press a button and the lid pops open and I only need one finger to close the lid. Easy access to quench my thirst.
Another awesome feature is the security clip that ensures the flip lid stays down even if the button is accidentally pressed. When I'm carrying it in my bag I'm not worried that water is leaking into my bag. I bought 2, one for each stein I own then bought 1 more as a backup. I don't ever want to be without!”
“It’s a necessity for me to have a lid with a spout, the alternative being ice crashing on my face and I’ve had experience walking and trying to drink a glass of iced liquid so I was very happy to see the Stein Flip N Sip available. The lid made my Stein water bottle spot-on. Seeing it up close was when I realized the brain matter that went into the designing and engineering of this lid. Push a button and the lid flips open with precision and that can be done by feel. It’s a nice sized push button that requires a little, but not much, pressure to activate the mechanism. The catch on the flip top is sturdy with thick plastic that closes with a definitive click. Below it is a stainless bar with three positions - ready to flip, push button locked or flip lid locked down. The handle has small detents when moving it back and forth so it won’t flop around while carrying it and it has a heavily built handle with the same ergonomics as the original cap. The pivots are strong with no wobble in them. The seal on the cap itself is a machine fit and doesn’t look like it will wear out anytime soon, nor does it leak or look like it will leak. The seal on the flip top looks indestructible and unique in that it goes around the spout rim as well as into the spout and it simply can’t leak once the lid is secured. I’ve had the 21 oz water bottle for 4 weeks and it hasn’t been very far away from me the whole time while running errands and leaving it on its side in the car in the sun, walking around or waking up in the morning and having a sip of ice water. It’s become a fixture on my computer desk. and I drink more water just because it’s right there. I refill it more than a couple times a day and there’s no need to add ice. The water bottle is nice looking and the Flip & Sip lid is the icing on the cake. Thank you Healthy Human for putting some thought into your products and building them with longevity in mind :-)”
