“Bought for my 5 year old/nearly 6 granddaughter - I'm sure she'll love it as it is "real" cross stitch and not cardboard like so many children's kits. The actually embroidery pieces are very small - only about 2 inches square, which is smaller than I expected - it would be better if they were a bit larger to be cut down to fit the items - but I expect she will manage. Only 1 needle (a real metal one) supplied, which I can see getting lost easily, so I will get a few more tapestry needles before giving it to her!”
