Really good face wash which I’ve enjoyed using skin felt refreshed and non greasy or irritated whilst using it. A tube so you can get the last bit out which is handy as this is expensive but worked ever so well on my skin. Good for taking away on holiday as a tube. The smell from it delicate and light I found and the texture sort of looks weird with the little blue dots in it but main thing is it cleansed my face ever so well. Even mad menopausal skin seemed to get soothed using this. Just a shame it’s got a high price tag or else this would be on my go to list all the time hence four stars.

Good quality and texture, but a little overpriced for what it is, as I do not see any benefits over and above similar products at a lower price point.

I was sent the cleanser, toner and moisturiser for review and I love all three. The cleanser is a gel and smells lovely and fresh. It washes really thoroughly too and even when I use the toner afterwards it doesn't leave much extra dirt as the cleanser has done such a good job. I have been using it for months and it still has loads left too. The toner smells minty and fresh but not harsh and you don't need it as the cleanser has done such a good job. The moisturiser is also lovely and fresh and isn't greasy. My only wish is that there was an SFP in it, but other than that I love the whole set.

This Herbal Essentials face wash is at the more pricier end of face washes, but I found it very effective. A small amount lathered up well and felt like it cleaned my skin well, but without that taught, almost drying effect some face washes have. There was little/no discernible scent too either in use or left on the skin afterwards.

Did not react with sensitive skin and works well although it has quite a strong smell. On dilution has the consistency of thin liquid soap and is not particularly foamy. Skin feels clean and not tight after using, moisturiser was not needed afterwards.

I like the fresh feeling this face wash leaves on my skin. It's non-drying and also not greasy. I've experienced no sudden breakouts or sensitivity after three weeks of daily use (once a day). I don't know about it's "purifying" claims because I have period related spots that occur once a month. This face wash hasn't stopped them. However the scent is fresh and my skin feels clean. I enjoy using this and feel it's worth the money.

This Purifying Face Wash from Herbal Essentials is probably the nicest and most moisturising face wash I've ever used but it's also probably the most expensive. Unlike most this one leaves your skin feeling like you just treated it with a light moisturiser rather than using a detergent-based cleanser which has stripped your natural oils. You need only a small amount, which helps offset the high price, as mixed with water it makes a light emollient foam that works well across the skin. The aroma is lovely, herbal and authentic-smelling although it seems to come from an added fragrance rather than the natural essences contained in the gel. The face wash is not based on Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, like most are, but it does contain similar although milder surfactants like Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate which are less likely to cause irritation. It's a high quality face wash and very pleasant to use but I'm not sure it's any more natural than others and the foaming and cleansing ingredients don't seem to be that much different from the average. It's difficult to understand the exceptionally high price but it's a nice treat if you can afford it.

Colourless and with little scent, this is quite a rich fluid which doesn't lather a great deal and washes off easily. As a cleanser it is outstanding, probably one of the best if not the best I have ever tried, leaving skin so smooth and clean and does this without drying. Can't be faulted, but can the price be justified? As it's quite rich you should be able to get away with using a small quantity each time, but even so. Do they really, as the blurb would imply, use spring water from the Himalayas?
