It is sooooooo velvety when you scoop it out but then the warmth of your skin immediately melts it, making it super easy to spread on your hands and face without pulling at your skin. That's the power of whipping shea butter, which can be a little hard to manage in its natural form. I love all the oils added to this one -- these are wonderful plant fats for skin. I carry a tiny container of it in my purse. I'm nanny to a delightful child who is now 2-y/o and she also loves to get into my purse and use my creams and butters.
