Although clear explanations of the process, it could go deeper into reviewing machine safety etc

I have a challenge with one of the assessment questions. Q- If you have hired work equipment what must you do before using it? The answer you are looking for is - Test it to ensure that it's safe. However, if the user were to carry out an inspection prior to testing then that would help to highlight any obvious defects and prevent the equipment from being "tested". e.g. an electrical item that has been delivered with the power cable damaged in transit would be picked up by a user inspection, stopping it from being connected to a power source and preventing a potential adverse event.
