“There was lots of useful, information in the course to assist with PAT and visual inspections. However, I was VERY disappointed the course did not include any instruction on the actual carrying out of a PAT test using testing equipment. This was one of the main reasons I was doing the course! It was only revealed to me that this was not included around 60% of the way through the final module. I feel like that omission should have been VERY clearly identified on the course description page prior to purchase.”

We do try and make the course information as clear as possible on the website and we do advice that: All portable appliances require a different method of testing. It is within our best interest to provide you with accurate advice and information, but it's the duty of the individual responsible for appliance testing to apply the techniques discussed in this course safely and with full confidence. It's also very difficult because all equipment is different. You would need to refer to the instructions for the equipment you have to assist with this.
