“It contained incredibly-helpful information involving PAT testing and is definitely worth doing! However, the course provided no information on how Class I and Class II PAT tests are carried out. While this may partially be outside what the certificate covers, it is certainly what an individual who's doing all of these modules will assume would be covered. It is also the primary function of a PAT certificate: To be qualified to PAT test. I understand that it's far more beneficial to have another individual educate employees on how to carry them out more effectively, but just as this course is not a first-aid course yet covers the steps on what to do in an electric-shock emergency, so too do I believe it should cover the basic principles of executing a PAT test. Even so, I would still recommend taking this course. It is simply that it appears to me that the primary information desired for doing a PAT certificate, even at a purely-academic level, is missing from this paid course.”
