Hello, thank you for your review. The PAT testing course will familiarise you with the task of portable appliance testing and ways you can help minimise the risk of electrocution, electric shock, and electrically-initiated fires in the workplace. You will learn about the basics of PAT so you're able to offer your support and ensure electrical equipment does not put people's health and safety at risk while at work. We can not offer detailed advice on how to use the machine as each brand will have different instructions. Kindest Regards

“I feel that there could be more detail about the actual PAT-related tests that should be carried out, i.e., whilst they were named some information about what they are, what they test, which ones should be applied (as I understand that it is not necessary to undertake all of the tests available) when & how they are applied (basics only). That would round out the course in my humble opinion.”
