“I am very unlikely to become a care professional so have no practical need for this training. Nevertheless, it was useful to learn about the principles and practices laid down in the various Acts and the need to adhere to policy and procedures and not act alone. This may be relevant with friends or family who are receiving care, or indeed to me, if I am ever in such a situation. I thought the pace was good and the tests required a bit of thought to arrive at the right answer. Had I taken the tests without the training I would have given more incorrect answers.”
