“The course was informative, but based on the construction industry, which is irrelevant to my profession (Education). Some of the assessment questions were also somewhat confusing (several options that could be correct, or vague statements).”

“This course delivers a solid foundation in understanding the risks, responsibilities, and procedures related to drug and alcohol use in the workplace, especially in safety-critical environments. It balances policy with practical scenarios, empowering employees to act wisely and lawfully. What Could Be Improved: More Real-World Case Studies: A few more examples from real workplaces, both good and bad responses, would have added weight. Deeper Cultural Insight: It touched lightly on stigma and cultural silence around drug and alcohol issues. I would’ve liked more on breaking that silence, especially from a compassionate standpoint. Knowing the signs, understanding your role, and being familiar with your company's protocol isn’t optional; it’s part of being a responsible colleague and a human being. We can’t afford to guess when lives, livelihoods, and mental health are on the line.”
