“When I started the course, it took me to Module 3 instead of Module 1. This made it confusing and more difficult to follow as I didn't know the terminology. When I finished Module 3 then i could choose Module 1”

That is odd as when you click on the start course button it should just bring up all the modules and then you click on the first one and work you way through?
