“Generally very thorough and detailed course. Just one risk marker that is present in the context of domestic abuse, where Working together and the Children Act indicate that the best outcome for children is to remain in their family and have contact with both parents. This is not necessarily a safe assumption in the context of domestic abuse and so I think it needs to be stressed a bit more about the potential risks of coercive control or post separation abuse. Also reproductive abuse is another category of harm that needs to be included.”
