They have had a look into this and they believe the question you are referring to is "Manual handling is an example of a:" The answers to which are: - risk - hazard - control method - safe system of work The correct answer is hazard not control measure. A hazard is anything that can cause harm, damage or adverse health effects to people in the workplace. - an example of a hazard is manual handling, an activity which would need to be properly assessed and suitable controls implemented where necessary. They would agree that its a work activity, its also a source of potential hazards and, out of the options provided, so I'm afraid hazard is correct.
