“Failed one question on the assesment and it was to do with bins. I selected "make sure the bin is locked when not in use". I don't see how this can be a wrong answer. Most establishments are supplied with "pest proof bins" as standard with their uplift contract. The only issue that can render the bin "non pest proof" is surely the failure of staff to make sure the bin is locked and inaccessible to pests. This question needs reworded or reframed. I've yet to see a current business using cardboard bins for commercial waste. If there are indeed businesses doing this then you should be rolling back the question to the necessity of commercial waste collection.”
