“Finished the course, it was a great learning experience, and it was good to discover how I'm already growing as a leader, and to see the steps I've learned from the course already in motion in my day-to-day activities. I now understand the reasons why I've struggled, due to past experiences, and allowing them to have an effect on how I move forward. But leadership is about adapting, growing, and not letting emotions affect your decision-making and how you lead. I've learned the importance of having a common goal you're trying to reach, but also being adaptable. And you can't be a leader without a team or people you influence; leaders have to work well with the people they lead, and resolve conflict effectively. Would have loved for the actual workbook to be graded, so I could really understand my level. I also assumed the final assessment would be written rather than multiple choice. I think a written format would have been better, since it would push you to actually articulate your thinking rather than just recognise the right answer. Overall though, I'm walking away with more than I expected; a clearer sense of who I already am as a leader, and the confidence to keep building on it rather than waiting to feel "ready."”
