“This is a really in depth training, easy to follow and lots of really important information. I would like to feedback though, it would be helpful to see a real life case study or two of an example of where a professional has raised a safeguarding concern to the Local authority / social care and it has been dealt with successfully to safeguard the child. The course starts off with two horrific cases where social care failed to safeguard and protect two children who ended up dying due to lack of protection... I must say this course didn't put a lot of my confidence in social care to fulfill their duty. I think it's important to see where social care have failed ... but equally very important to see that their processes work for the majority. It would be useful to see some successful safeguarding cases from social care shown - helps also to see how the process works for raising a concern with real life examples as well. Rather than just through the description outlined in this training and negative examples.”
