“My safeguarding learning experience has been extremely valuable and has strengthened my understanding of how to keep children safe. The training was clear, practical and grounded in real scenarios, which helped me recognise the different levels of need and how to respond appropriately. I particularly appreciated learning about professional curiosity, contextual safeguarding and the importance of accurate, factual recording. The course also explained the roles of the DSL, when and how to share information, and the thresholds for Early Help, Child in Need and Child Protection. This has given me much more confidence in knowing what steps to take if I ever have concerns about a child. The scenarios and quizzes helped reinforce my learning and made the content engaging and relevant to real-life practice. Overall, this safeguarding training has improved my awareness, strengthened my decision-making and ensured I feel prepared to take action to protect children’s welfare. I would highly recommend it to anyone working with children or young people.”
