“Generally good - was disappointed to not get more information on how 999 calls are handled particularly from mobiles (it is not something we get to practice and 10 years ago when I had to do it I was surprised how it then worked), Was confused by the illustration of a suspected spinal injury of someone knealing up yet all the instructions assumed they would be lying down.”

Hi Malcolm, thank you for your review and feedback! I have passed this on to our content department. In terms of the 999 calls, this is typically very straight forward and the call handler will talk you through the steps. As anyone may need to ring them, not just first aiders, we didn't feel it necessary to expand on this in the course. We have identified the picture for the spinal injuries, while it does show someone who may have sustained a spinal injury, we've changed it to show someone calling 999 and an injured person on the floor so it's more appropriate for the slide content on how to then treat them.
