Your slides incorrectly show the UK mains voltage is 240V. This is incorrect. The nominal voltage has been 230V for many years (it did change!). Also regarding PAT testing ,the latest IET code of practise removes the word 'portable' as this was causing confusion. All electrical items, whether a layman considers them 'portable' need to be subject to a regime of combined inspection and testing. This includes, for example, hand driers that are wired in to the supply. Thanks.
