“It looks great but not connected to bike yet as finding the right connector is difficult. More needs to be on the Hiplok site to support customers, including various options and links or code references, diameters of seat post kits (I want to us it over the outer dropper post seat post), options or alternative connecting kits within ranges, etc.”

If you look on our BR1000 page, we have a list of compatible connectors with the product code and the sizes of bike they fit. “I bought this mainly for convenience, so that the DX1000 doesn't take space in my pannier bag and to avoid heavy stuff in my back pack. Works perfectly in that respect. Relatively easy to install, but it's not meant to be removed quickly, worth keeping in mind if you occasionally use both sides of a pannier rack.
The main downside for me is that the DX1000 rattles quite a lot when mounted on the bracket...the D section is held firmly in the bracket, but the locking bar of the DX1000 has some play. Not great if you enjoy those quiet rides through a park. Perhaps the Hiplok crew can come up with some easy hacks to address this?”
Thanks for leaving us a review, we’re happy to hear you found the BR1000 easy to use but we’re sorry for any disappointment caused by the play within the DX1000 itself. The movement of the shackle is due to the unique shackle design. You may be able to tighten this by pushing the rubber sleeves a small amount back towards the body. We are looking at ways we can reduce this in future versions!
“Secure and tidy solution for carrying D1000 and DX1000 Hiplock locks on a bicycle. I have a parcel rack on my E-bike, so was able to attach the mount without having to purchase any extra mounting devices. Fitting the BR1000 is very easy. The clip that attaches to the parcel rack has 2 positions to allow either lock to fit.
I've been using the BR1000 with my DX1000 for just over a week and it holds the lock very securely, even over rough terrain (my town is world pothole capital).
I recommend the BR1000 to anyone with a luggage rack, but caution that you will need to outlay more money for alternative mounting points.”
“I have a DX1000 and it fits perfectly in this holder. Also the holder doesn't rattle during rides, but, unfortunately, the lock itself does. Otherwise I have no problems with the holder”
