Fit's my bike nicely and and no problem holding the D lock, so I'm happy with my purchase.

I must for storing the lock

Great accessory. The lock is quite heavy and can do damage in a rack bag going over rough ground. A little pricey for what it is, but works well

Great addition to the D1000. D1000 fits perfectly - nice and snug, but still easy to get the lock in and out. The top velcro straps and extra two straps for the webbing at the back give lots of options for attaching to the bike. The pouch vs a clip that attaches to the frame meant I could attach to the kid's safety bars on the cargo bike, super easy to access and sits neatly out of the way under the saddle.

This is a great little pouch for a motorbike, a heavy mountain bike or if you don't mind tucking a 2-kilo lock into your waist. It's not that great if you're on a road bike and you want to reduce the load on your lower back a little. Carrying the D1000 on the handlebars is scary, as the weight of the lock reduces the sensitivity of your steering by quite a bit. Fixing it at the front of the frame is almost as bad. I found it makes my 9kg road bike really front-heavy; you feel like you're pushing a load when you pedal, and you constantly brush against the bulky pouch with your knees. The pouch is doing what it can, but it's no replacement for a frame bracket that you can place on the central column of your frame, keeping the centre of gravity where it needs to be. Will be sending mine back, in hope that Hiplok would someday develop one for the d1000.
