“Locks, unlocks really nicely. Glad to see a dust cover over the keyway, but a sliding cover would be bettter as the flappy silicone one gets in the way. The silicone cover on the hasp is welcome to protect wheels and paint but towards the lock body is unneccessarily bulky and just serves as a hindrance to adequately post it through brake rotors and wheels. That being said, if it delivers as the reviews and testmonials have said, it's well worth it's cost and size. I'd recommend the case for it as the silicone hangs on to dirt and dust that will otherwise end up in your top box.”

“My purchase was for a family member - unfortunate enough to have suffered a previous bike theft (during which the lock was cut with a cordless angle grinder) I've had one of thes locks since they were launched - it's very easy to use, clearly very secure and altogether a great product. Heavy, so the use of the pouch to carry is almost essential.”

Only negative is the the case is an extra, for the price I would of liked to of included a case. I would recommend this lock. I'm only buying these of newer versions from now on.”

“So far so good, fits nicely on my bike and the reassurance it gives me whilst I'm shopping puts my mind at ease. It's well built and will hopefully put the would be thieves off in attempting to steal my bike. I'm also considering getting the DX1000 when it becomes available for extra protection. Bare in mind that these D locks my be expensive but you need to take into consideration how much you've spent on your bike and how much you would save in the long run and distress you'd put yourselves through. So far I'm happy with my purchase.”
