I have bought myself a hugely expensive EMTB and the controller sits on the handle bars - I wanted something that would not only protect that unit when I have my bike upside down when taking out/replacing my front wheel for transit, but also to stabilise the bike when lubricating the chain once home after my ride when cleaning down!
