“Heavy as hell and takes some muscle to wrap it around the rear wheel of my motorbike each night.
But its is the toughest chain I've ever owned and definitely worth the price and effort!”
“I knew it was not suitable to carry on the bike but my bike is stored on a trailer in the garage. The chain is now part of the trailer passed through the front wheel and my Hiplok DX1000 secures the other end as well as locking around the front wheel. The large loop is big enough to go over the tow bar when it is unbolted from the frame so after re-fitting it is a permanent part of the trailer now, plus the trailer can be locked to something solid when we take it out preventing theft of the trailer. My bike was also tail heavy on the trailer but the chain now balances the weight so the nose weight is now correct.”
Thanks for leaving us a review, we're really happy to hear you're finding the Mega Chain a useful addition to your setup and hope this is giving you the peace of mind you need!
“This chain is massive. Very heavy. Definitely not to be carried around on your bike. For home security where irs cemented/bolted to the ground or solid wall it's peace of mind for sure.”
“Bought because I had to temporarily chain my bike to a lamppost, it’s a fantastic chain! Now back on the drive and I use it to extend my 14mm chain for more parking room”
