“I don't think it's possible for anyone to break this chain without a welding torch. The combination of the wall mount, lock and chain is beyond anything I could've imagined. At first, I thought it was a little pricey for the three components, but once I installed it, my piece of mind is worth so much more. I'd highly recommend this to anyone protecting their bicycles motorcycles, etc..”
“Chain is pretty strong and heavy. However it is just on the short side but I can work with it. Thats the positive bit. I bought it to work with my Hiplok DX1000 which is a great lock but the chain doesnt fit the lock. I will have to shave the rubber off the DX1000 to make them fit (which I wont do). The last ring on the chain will not fit the DX1000. I use the chain now with another lock as a secondry devise and have the DX1000 as the main lock. Surely it would have been engineered better to fit their own products. For me, I have it now but wish I had bought a different chain.”

“This chain is HEAVY heavy duty. It works well for my use locking bikes to my car's rack. It's cumbersome to manage but worth the extra steps to lock everything with a U-lock. The circular shackle makes it usable in multiple arrangements. The last chain link on the opposite end is a little snug trying to get my Litelok through with its rubber coating and that's the only thing I would consider changing(link shape). The fabric wrap is tough and well made.”

Thanks for leaving us a review, we're glad to hear you're happy with the quality of the XL CHAIN! Our XL CHAIN came before our 1000 series locks which is why the end loop is smaller. We do however have two chains that are compatible with the D1000 and DX1000, these are the X CHAIN and MEGA CHAIN!
“High quality chain a must have if you have a motorcycle.
Needs to be longer though as I cannot fit it round my swing arm and rear and through ground anchor all in one go, it's either you use it to go round swing arm and through rear wheel then lock it in place as its not long enough to go through the ground anchor as well.”
“Sturdy and well made. Looks good. Only 2 negatives, if going round chunky back wheels could do with being a bit longer and the end loops could do with being covered in something to avoid scratches to wheels.
A great lock and I'm sure would not be easy to get through. Happy I purchased it.”
