“I didn’t like the difference between the bodice and the skirt. In my opinion, the dress would have looked much smarter with the whole outfit done in one material. The colour and pattern were fine, when I put it on I just didn’t like the two together in the one dress. I didn’t take a photograph.”

“I bought this for a wedding and it felt lovely on, fully lined and hung beautifully and looked good all day. My only slight criticism is that the ties for the bow were extremely long, too long for the petite cut and because the material is soft they kept coming undone and a couple of times people had to warn me as they nearly tripped me up.”

“This dress looks much nicer than it does online. As always, the length is an issue. I wish Hobbs would take note that the average height of women in the UK is 5ft 4inches. Even the petite options are quite long but better than nothing. I have purchased the petite size 12 so it’s above the ankle, which is fine. The dress is gorgeous. Lovely soft material and the colours are very nice. I would say, however, that the zip struggles where the waist band is. I tried it on several different sized dresses and none ran smoothly. A bit disappointing for that price but I’m taking my chances and otherwise I’m delighted with it. Apologies for the state of me in the photo. Hopefully I’ll scrub up better for my son’s wedding in August!”
