“This is a nice pair of trousers, but I'm at a loss to understand why Hobbs calls them jeans. They're not made of denim, despite the claims in the description; it's a perfectly ordinary trouser fabric. When did you ever meet a pair of jeans that had a traditional menswear double-hook waist fastening?! The cut is good, but my big issue is the front pockets. You literally can't put anything in them, not even a hankie, because they are so shallow. Again, jeans have proper pockets, so what's the deal here? The pocket is barely deep enough to get two finger joints in, and that makes the trousers seem cheap, as well as being irritating. Please do better, Hobbs.”
