“A well made dress, fully lined and a gorgeous colour. I wore it to a New Year’s Day wedding & it was complimented upon. Two little niggles about the dress: it was two or three inches too short (I’m 5ft 7) so I felt the length was neither here or there, it could have been more glamorous had the length been right (I ordered online) and secondly, it could have been more shapely or fitted at the waist & this would have improved the overall look, and made it less conservative. The image used of the dress online is far more fitted and perhaps was pinned when shot was taken, mine certainly was not fitted. I’m typically a standard 12 and ordered the 12. Slightly lost opportunity here by the designers as it could have been a ‘wow’ dress & something different from what is out there at the moment as the colour (chocolate brown sequin) was inspired. Try not to always play it so safe, Hobbs!”
