“For me the dress was shorter than expected as the model is 5 inches taller than me and so I was expecting the dress to be that much longer. The shoulder design didn’t suit me at all and is probably more flattering to someone far taller than 5ft 5. The quality and fabric are lovely and I liked the colour too but sadly this dress just didn’t suit me.”

“The dress didn't suit me . I wasn't keen on the large sleeves and neckline was too severe so have returned. My rating is low as I ordered this dress as next day delivery but it didn't arrive the next day. I was away for the weekend and on returning the parcel was by the back gate. I received no communication to say it had been delivered. I have been refunded for the next day delivery and the cost of the dress.”

“The dress was packed in tissue and a plastic bag. It arrived virtually crease free. Good job by the delivery company. The few creases there were dropped out over a few hours. The dress fits beautifully. I am a size 12 in Hobbs dresses. I like the subtle colours. The silk fabric seems a little less luxurious than other silk Hobbs dresses I have bought, but I do like the dress.”

“The material and print is fab, absolutely great quality. The problem is the visible stitching seam/ join of fabric, in front for the full length. The prints on the two sides do not match and hence the print breaks abruptly throughout the front and back seam for the full length of the dress I feel that a dress at this price point should not have the seam like this dividing the dress print so visibly. I think this helps fabric wastage and increases profit. However it ruins the look, and is visibly seen in my pictures taken on my special birthday this year. Overall, I would like this not be done for other dresses please as I would like to continue to buy silk dresses from Hobbs”
