These are lovely trousers, but night right for me. I found the pleats at the front led to the trousers feeling wide around the pelvis, and due to the fabric weight being relatively light, the trousers did not hang in a flatttering way on my frame, in particular when sat down, the combination of cut and fabric weight led to unattractive bunching at the front. Returned for a prompt refund.

I was excited to find a trouser in grey and blue check with good wool content and a bit of a wide leg. Ordered a 12 and it appeared a bit baggy as well as way too long. The 10 was too tight on waist then as I was thinking of keeping 12 noticed my waist was starting to itch. Checked the material against my wrist and it's uber scratchy and the trousers are unlined. Had just got a very nice horseshoe jean from Zara; perfect length so the Middleton had to go back! Sorry!

Absolutely love the modern fit and quality wool fabric. The slouchy wide leg design is so comfy to wear, and can be styled both smart and casual. Please do more trousers like this!

the pants are very expensive but really nothing special. The design, the cut, the way they fit…Even the fabric, with this percentage of wool should be much better. I have other 2 pairs of pants from hobbs, one 100% linen for summer, and the other one a mix of wool and other materials for colder months, and they are absolutely perfect and I expected something similar since they are in the same price range. Also, for this price and with this much wool, it would make sense to add the lining (that I have in the other pants with wool). They put all the effort in the marketing (very cool pics on the website that deceived me) but not in the making of the article. It puts me really off when brands do this… another unreliable clothes company, what a surprise!
