“I was hesitant ordering purple at my age, 71 years young. But, purple is my favorite color. When I unboxed this, I did actually gasp! The color is a deep purple, toward the blue side. The fabric is soft as butter and has a light sheen. My body betrays me now at my age, but the tailoring of this coat compliments me nonetheless. I don't mind sharing that I am 5'7", 135 lb.s and ordered a US12, so I can wear my favorite heavy sweater underneath. Even without layers, the coat pleats perfectly under the belt. I have a formal event soon, and can't wait to show it off over my navy, full length, full skirted gown. Thankyou Hobbs, for making me the belle of the ball, no matter what I'm wearing!”
