“I'm really late reviewing this but in fact just a few days ago, I found that I still had one of the pumpkin pies from this chef in my fridge which was never eaten. This really tells you something, because I normally adore pumpkin pie, but these just didn't seem to provide the flakey pastry or the rich and aromatic filling of a well-spiced pumpkin pie.
But this may be a dish where everyone has their favourite way of making pumpkin pie and can't adjust to anyone else's.”
“We tried two of these: one room temperature and one warmed in the air fryer. Both were awesome! My only comment is that the pastry is a bit thickāit's like 50:50 with the filling, and I'd like more filling. (Coming from someone who normally likes the pastry part the most!)”
